Best Practices
The English Language Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (MESY) successfully organised, for the third consecutive year, a seminar entitled “Sharing Best Practices Among Colleagues: Inclusive Teaching Practices” on 8 November 2025 at the Pedagogical Institute of Cyprus in Nicosia. The seminar brought together English language teachers to exchange effective pedagogical strategies, share innovative ideas, and promote a teaching culture that supports equality and inclusion. Sharing best practices positively impacts both teachers and students—by exchanging ideas, practical approaches, and classroom experiences, teachers become more responsive to diverse learner needs and foster professional growth, reflective practice, and creative problem-solving. This collaboration also builds a supportive teacher community and ensures all students—regardless of ability, background, or learning pace—are meaningfully engaged. Ultimately, such exchanges strengthen teacher confidence, motivate learners, and contribute to more effective, equitable, and dynamic EFL classrooms.
