English - Secondary Education

To empower young learners for the 21st century, EFL teachers must understand the global importance of English. English is used internationally as the language for science, technology, business trade, tourism, diplomacy and global problem solving. English language competence will enable students to communicate in English with people from all over the world and interact with diverse cultures. To this end, EFL teachers will need to expose their students to real world content.

This website has been created with a view to enhance effective EFL teaching and learning in Secondary Education. Teachers can find support and resources to help them transform their classrooms into active learning environments where all students will be encouraged to develop learner autonomy, critical thinking and collaboration skills.

“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have no love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal” (I Corinthians 13:1)
