Literature Month, celebrated in our schools throughout March, is a dynamic educational initiative inspired by World Poetry Day (21 March) and World Theatre Day (27 March). The initiative aims to highlight the transformative power of poetry and theatre in nurturing creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and collaboration among students. Suggested activities include reading and composing poems, designing posters inspired by English and American literary works, staging short plays, delivering student presentations, engaging in literary games and songs, hosting author workshops, and organising visits to bookstores or libraries to explore and celebrate literature.

Literature Month offers a vibrant platform for students to connect with the written and performed word, fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts and the richness of literary expression.
